Overview | Year 11 | Year 12 | Year 13

Year 13 Courses

Year 13 students choose any five subjects and students also have six spells of study time.

The school provides a wide range of options for students in their fifth year or sixth year at secondary school. Many students use the year to gain entry to University or other tertiary institutions. Those intending to take this path should choose only level three courses. When selecting their courses they need to consult the year 13 Dean or Careers Advisor to confirm the course they intend to study will meet the entry criteria as set by the New Zealand Universities.

University Scholarship Awards

The opportunity to attempt the scholarship examination in one or more courses will be available to very able year 13 students. Nationally scholarships are awarded to the top 2 or 3% of students studying each level three course.

Scholarship awards are available to New Zealand citizens or permanent residents only.
