In March the Buckingham Guard March Team competed in Dunedin and qualified for the top 6 in the Championship grade. They then competed against the other 5 top NZ teams in both of the Technical and Display phases, resulting in a tie for 1st Technical, 2nd for Display and 2nd Overall Champion Team, a fantastic result in such a tough grade.

Well done Maia

Maia Van den Berk represented HGHS at the Dannevirke Inter-school Equestrian Competition on Wednesday, March 31. She competed in the dressage section and rode two different dressage tests. She placed 3rd in one test and 7th in the other from a field of approximately 35 riders. Maia enjoyed representing the school in her chosen sport of equestrian.
