Term One, Week 9

Students working from home Week 11

As we look forward to Term 2 and a return to regular timetables and Ākina Groups, we have made the decision to have students learning from home in week 11, between 11 -14 April.  This will then lead into the school holidays, giving students and staff three weeks, of non face-to-face time, and helping to break any developing patterns of infection. If for any reasons, your student is unable to work from home, please contact their House Dean, so that a suitable learning space can be provided for them at school.

Ākina Long Lunch

We are excited to start Term 2, returning to a normal timetable and Ākina Groups, but before we do, we want to go out of Term 1 with a bang!  On Friday 8 April, we will be holding a Long Lunch for our students, with plenty of fun and spot prizes planned.  Students will come dressed in House colours and enjoy music and sports over the lunch break.  We encourage all students who have been at home distance learning, to come and reconnect with you fellow class mates and Ākina group members ahead of their return in Term 2.
