HGHS Accord Days Year 9 & 10 Students
Secondary Teacher ACCORD days will take place on Monday 21 November and Monday 28 November. The ACCORD days are looking at the introduction of the new NCEA curriculum.
Support for Seniors on Monday
Students in Group 2 & 3 who wish to come into school on Monday, to work on their mahi are welcome - please come straight to the library when you arrive at school where Whaea MaryAnne and Mr Hewes will be waiting.
Year 13 Leavers Supper
Following the Senior Prize-giving we will be hosting our Year 13's and their whānau for a leavers supper in the staffroom.

We warmly invite our prize winners and their families to our Senior Prize-giving. Prize winners and their whānau have been notified by email.
2023 School Production 'Once on this Island'
Please complete this form to express interest in auditioning for the 2023 school production.
Auditions will be held of 7 February 2023.
Audition Process:
- Students nominate whether they would like to participate as a member of cast, dance troupe or ensemble.
- Audition - Students who would like to have a solo or secondary role do an audition for Ms. Harding and Ms. Lander. At the audition you need to sing one of the below songs and be prepared to act out the script.
- Students contacted by Ms. Harding or Ms. Lander on Thursday 9th Feb with an offer of a role.
- Cast contracts signed by student and whanau returned to school on Friday 10th February.
- Rehearsals start Term 1 Week 3.

Reminder Half Day next Friday 2 December
Next Friday 2 December school will finish at 12.25pm, so that our PPTA members can attend a paid union meeting. The Flaxmere bus will leave at 12.30pm, all other buses at normal times.

note: this is Semi Finals & Finals night for Junior A teams. This will be Junior B's semi-final game. We hope to livestream the Junior A finals game on the HGHS Facebook page. Draw will be circulated to the Volleyball teams as soon as the draw is confirmed by Volleyball Hawkes Bay. Please note that Junior B and Junior C's finals will be held on Wednesday 7th December.
